Stigao je update za betu koji rješava neke probleme.

 

- Fixed the server browser being slow/laggy
- Fixed some crashing issues with the server browser
- Fixed certain maps crashing in countdown game mode when 64 players would respawn at the same time
- Fixed some icons getting stuck on the screen (FT1, FT2, etc)
- Fixed choosing (defaults) in the key config menu removing keys
- Fixed some debugging tools so us devs can figure out what is causing crashes easier

Čitam malo na wikipediji i ovo mi je najzanimljivije:

 

In June 2011 Red Orchestra 2's developer Tripwire announced they would be taking an aggressive, three pronged approach to proactively deal with cheating. Red Orchestra 2 would be using a combination of three anti-cheat services; VAC along with Punkbuster and a related service called PBbans.

 

3 Anti-cheat sistema, zar to ne radi malo preveliko opterećenje na servere i njihove procesore.

Ne samo na njihove, već opterećenje i na klijenta.

Zanima me kako će to raditi, ali u svakom slučaju problem čitera se ne može iskorijeniti.

 

S tim da PBBans nije anti cheat sustav, već streaming zajednica. Ono o čemu sam ti pisao na jednoj od tema.

Ako sam dobro vidio, sam admin servera bira koju vrstu zaštite želi na svom serveru. Vidio sam par servera koji nemaju VAC, ali imaju PB. Ako nude 3 zaštite ne znači da će server morati imati sva 3 anti-cheat programa.

Dakle pucanje na stojecki je prelagano, prelako se nacilja i nema vise toliko potrebe za oslonit pusku, i danzing su nekako smanjili do bola pogotovo langermarkt. mislim da su stavili i previse zooma na ironsights. ne znam nije lose sve u svemu dostojan nasljednik, ali ima onaj stari nesto svoje posebno ne znam. . .

Kako se dobivaju nova oružja? Dal postoje dodatci za oružja? Round drum za ppsh? I kako se baca dimna bomba?

U beti nema dostupnih dodataka za oružje, a dimnu bombu ima Squad Leader i bacaš ih isto kao i obične granate.

Ne shvaćam kako misliš da je pucanje na stoječki prelagano i da se prelako nacilja. Ciljaš dobro koliko brzo primjetiš neprijatelja i koliko ti je brz pokret ruke. Zooma ima dovoljno na ironsightu kada se fokusiraš, ni previše ni premalo. I kakav danzing spomišnješ, misliš mapa apartaments koje je slična danzingu ako se dobro sjećam?

Ruka bi se trebala više tresti dok držiš pušku u stajaćem položaju, nego dok ju oslanjaš ili ležiš.

Onaj suppression je isto beskoristan, ne radi ništa osim što ti ekran postane crno bijel, kada pucam iz mg-a po prozoru, lik samo izviri i pogodi me karabinom,

Da, idemo napraviti igru gdje ne možeš ništa pogoditi, uostalom ako si vojnik valjda si i istreniran da držiš mirno pušku ako ćemo već gledat prema nekom realizmu. Što bi supression po tebi trebao raditi? Dovoljno je što stvara osjećaj panike kada te neprijatelj zapraši mecima ili eksplozijama, pa brže dišeš i puška ti se više trese dok pucaš. Ovo kada pucaš sa MG po neprijatelju, ako je precizan da, to će i napraviti kao što sam i ja uspio nekoliko puta. Uostalom ovo je beta pa nije ni čudo da ima bugova i zato se rade testiranja, a developeri aktivno sudjeluju u testiranjima, barem je tako bilo u closed beti.

dakle mislim na karabin s kojim se nakon sprinta bez problema stane i nekog prosvira na stojecki sto nije bas bio slucaj u orginalu. i jos jedna stvar koja me smeta je nedostatak zamora u igri je moguce poprilicno dugo na stojecki drzati karabin naciljan na metu bez da se krene ljuljati. i mp40 je na stojecki puno precizniji nego prije (manje se rita).

  • Red October Factory– night-time fighting in the factory ruins on an epic scale with infantry and tanks fighting side by side
  • Barracks– a mix of close-quarter and medium-range combat, sure to be a fan favorite

Nisam puno igrao nove mape, ali Red October Factory djeluje prej*beno :D

Evo danas sam napokon malo bolje zaigra nakon nekog dužeg perioda i uspio sam rješiti problem koji me mučio nakon prvog updatea, a to je da nakon što se spojim na server prođe 10 sekundi i ispadne da sam zapravo dissconectan jer svi igrači trče u zid itd. Dosta smiješno xD

 

Evo rješenja tog problema i par slikica od danas :)

 

Please use the following process and custom file to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Exit from Steam completely
  • Download these custom files: MasterServers.vdf & MasterServers2.vdf - If the files do not download when clicked, please right click this link and select "Save Target As..."
  • Place it in your \Steam\config\ folder (You will need to overwrite the current file already in place)
    • Default location: C:\Program Files\Steam\config\
  • Right click this updated file and select "Properties"
  • In the General tab, make sure the "Read-only" box is checked and click OK
  • Re-start Steam and test the issue

Izašao je novi update. Dečki iz Tripwirea se jako trude i svaka im čast {#} Tek toliko usput da smo dobili i 3 nove mape...

 

-New maps (Commissar's House, Station, Spartanovka, Pavlov's House)
-Client Performance Optimizations
-Client and Server crash fixes
-Improvements to hit detection
-Punkbuster Anti-Cheat can now be used by servers and is on by default
-Added enable PunkBuster setting and PunkBuster disabled warning in Server Browser
-Removed the ability to swap teams from the class select menu. Instead, there is now a button to open the team select menu. This will reduce some confusing 'Role is taken' messages.
-Adjustments to weapon unlocks for each class. Veteran marksman now unlock semi auto sniper rifles, veteran anti-tank now unlock satchels, and more.
-RO1 players will now get automatic bayonet upgrades for the Kar98 and Mosin rifle without needing to level these weapons first.
-Mid-game map voting will now immediately change maps if enough players vote.
-Fixed some reloading issues for weapons with stripper clips (G41, Kar98, etc)
-Fixed problems with enemy spotted from inside a tank
-Fixed occasionally seeing your dead self with no head or arms
-Fixed an exploit with cover allowing super speedy firing for rifles

Video Settings menu refinement
-Added ability to cancel changes
-Exposed Ultra texture quality settings to only machines that have enough memory
-New Occlusion Culling Graphical Setting - higher setting will have less object "pop-in" but be slow (original default in previous beta), normal setting will run better but have a bit more object "pop-in" (New default). Will provide significantly better frame rates on normal setting.
-The maximum video setting a system will be assigned on startup is high.
-Added MaxAnisotropy of 16 to Ultra texture settings
-Added 'stat perfdump' console command to get better information about poor performance people are seeing.
-Memory Optimization for 32 bit machines.
-Fixed exploit of glowing characters on low shadow settings
-Ping now shows in the scoreboard
-Fixed binoculars not working properly when a non-standard ironsights FOV was set on rifles
-Modified network relevancy checking to reduce characters popping in
-Added the ability to enable and disable VAC for servers on the commandline (overrides what is in the ini files). To enable VAC add the switch -VACSECURED to your commandline. To disable VAC add -NOVAC to your commandline.
-Added the ability to override the automatically calculated Steam query port. Use SteamPort= on your commandline. Note: Has not been heavily tested, use at your own risk
-Fixed an issue with AI swapping positions while a player was dead and waiting to take over positions in a tank. This made it appear that some positions were "coming back to life"
-Fixed some vehicle AI bugs
-Fixed not being able to kill the hull MGer or tank gunner in the Panzer IV if they were a human player
-Created an intelligent system to grab bullet from partial clips before moving on to whole clips. This prevents you from ending up with all of your clips having just a few rounds missing.
-Fixed getting bullet whizzed by guys that are not even facing you (I.e. shooting away from you). Also fixed double replication of some hit impacts/bullet whizzes.
-Refined speedhack detection to have less false positives

Ak ništa drugo ova igra ima daleko najzanimljiviju EULA-u koju sam ikad pročitao.

Svakako najjačio dio je:
